The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act applies to the online collection of personal information from children under the age of 13. We do not collect any personal information about children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under the age of 18 has provided us with personal information, we will endeavor to purge any such information as soon as possible.

1. Data We Collect from you, and how we use it

Our overriding principle is to collect as little user information (personal data included) as possible to ensure a private user experience when using the Services. Data collection is limited to the following:

1.1 Visiting 18plusbrowser.com website

We use a self-developed analytics tool to monitor and provide analysis on Our website usage. Analytics are anonymized whenever possible and stored on servers in the European Union. IP addresses are not retained and stored for such analytics. We do store generalized location data such as country and state associated with a website visitor but not specific location data such as your precise location. Since the 18plusbrowser.com website has no account or login feature, We have no personal identifiable information concerning the identity of the website visitors other than IP addresses.

The website 18plusbrowser.com uses services provided by Cloudflare Inc. and your use of the website will also be subject to Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

1.2 18+ App

When you use 18+ We (or the mobile app platform providers, i.e., Google LLC) may collect certain information. We may use mobile analytics software (i.e. flurry.com) to collect app statistics and crash reporting, Play Store app statistics, App Store app statistics, or self-hosted analytics to measure general app usage and send crash information to us. Some platforms, such as Google’s Play Store or Apple’s App Store also collect aggregate, anonymous statistics, which is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms and conditions. Such statistics can include most used devices and operating systems, total number of installs and uninstalls, and the total number of active users.

When you subscribe to Our VPN Service in 18+, you do so via the Google Play Store. Google handles your subscription, payment, and renewal. Google’s terms and conditions and privacy policy apply to your downloading 18+ from the Google Play Store and your subscription for Our VPN Service. Google does not tell us any personally identifiable information about you when you install the 18+ app or purchase a subscription.

1.3 Social Media

From time-to-time we might be active on Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter, Reddit, and Mastodon. Any information, communication, or material you submit to us via social media platforms is done at your own risk without any guarantee of privacy. We cannot control the actions of other users of these platforms or the actions of the platforms themselves. Your interactions with those features and platforms are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them.

1.4 Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, we are not responsible for the content of any website that we link to, and external sites are governed by their own terms and conditions and privacy policies.

2. VPN Service

The traffic between 18+ app and our VPN servers is encrypted. We monitor only the quantum of each user’s data in order to offer Our VPN subscription Service but we do not log the content, destination, or source of any traffic.

We rely on Google’s Play Store subscription feature to offer the billing and account management associated with the VPN service on 18+. As a result, we do not know your name, your email address, your payment method, or any other information about you other than your device type, country, and other statistics provided by Google.

We offer a free trial of our VPN service to all users without requiring them to set up a free trial subscription within the Google Play Store. To facilitate the free trial and prevent abuse, we monitor IP addresses of 18+ clients accessing Our VPN servers. We store IP addresses for a period of time in connection with preventing fraud and abuse. However, We do not associate specific VPN traffic with your IP address.

Our applications do not access or track any location-based information from your device.

3. Data subprocessors

To provide the Services, we rely on different data subprocessors, which process different categories of data. To our knowledge, processors never store data outside of the scope of their specific purpose.

3.1 Google Play Store

We rely on Google LLC to process your subscription to any VPN Service. Google provides access to the 18+ app on the Play Store, manages your subscription to the VPN service, and processes payments. Each user of the 18+ app will have agreed to Google’s terms and conditions concerning the processing of their data.

3.2 Providers of Servers to Enable the VPN Service

We use various hosting providers for the provision of servers to enable Our VPN service. These providers monitor their network traffic, including the IP address of ingress and egress traffic. We do not provide any personally identifiable information about our users to these providers. We cannot control the potential logging by these service providers of the IP address and packets sent using the VPN service.

4. Data disclosure

We will only disclose the limited user data we possess if we are legally obligated to do so by a binding request coming from law enforcement. We may comply with electronically delivered notices only when they are delivered in full compliance with the requirements of law. Our general policy is to challenge requests whenever possible and where there are doubts as to the validity of the request or if there is a public interest in doing so. In such situations, we will not comply with the request until all legal or other remedies have been exhausted.

Under no circumstances can We decrypt end-to-end encrypted content and disclose decrypted copies.

5. Modifications to Privacy Policy

Within the limits of applicable law, the Company reserves the right to review and change this Privacy Policy at any time. As long as you are using the Services, you are responsible for regularly reviewing this Privacy Policy.
